Traffic will be limited at the intersection of Bob Hope and Dinah Shore drives Wednesday, July 19 through Friday, July 21.
One lane will be closed on southbound Bob Hope Drive to
Dinah Shore Drive. At that intersection,
one lane will be closed on both eastbound and westbound Dinah Shore Drive. Work hours are 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. The lane
closures will remain in effect 24 hours a day for safety reasons.
A Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) contractor will be installing 36-inch water pipe to better serve existing and future customers in the area. The work will not interrupt water service.
The project will continue on Bob Hope Drive south for one block south of the intersection with Dinah Shore Drive. Completion is expected by the end of July.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and to expect delays
when driving past the construction zone and to avoid the area if possible. CVWD
appreciates everyone’s patience while the work is being performed.
The Coachella Valley Water District is a public agency

reclamation services, regional storm water protection, groundwater management
and water conservation. It serves approximately 109,000 residential and
business customers across 1,000 square miles, located primarily in Riverside County,
but also in portions of Imperial and San Diego counties.
