Nonpotable Water Rates
- The Type A NPWC will be calculated at 85% of the RAC rate plus PC, where RAC is the Replenishment Assessment Charge for the West Whitewater Replenishment Subbasin Area of Benefit then in effect on July 1 of each year, and the PC is the average pumping cost established at $54.57 per acre foot, to be escalated by 3% on July 1 of each year.
- FY 17/18: $168.61 per acft
- The Type B NPWC will be calculated at the Canal Class 2 Canal Water rate then in effect on July 1 of each year, plus the Quagga Mussel Mitigation surcharge then in effect on July 1 of each year.
- FY 17/18: $104.90 per acft
- The Type C NPWC will be calculated at 85% of the RAC rate plus PC, where RAC is the Replenishment Assessment Charge for the East Whitewater River Replenishment Subbasin Area of Benefit then in effect on July 1 of each year, and the PC is the pumping cost established at $35.70 per acre foot, to be escalated by 3% on July 1 of year.
- FY 17/18: $86.45 per acft
The District has established the Nonpotable Water Charge (NPWC) for three nonpotable water customer types:
- Type A: customers that use nonpotable water in lieu of groundwater or domestic water whose places of business are within the West Whitewater Replenishment Subbasin Area of Benefit;
- Type B: customers whose alternate source of water is Canal Water; and
- Type C: customers who have a direct connection from the Mid-Valley Pipeline and whose alternate source of water is groundwater in the East Whitewater Replenishment Subbasin Area of Benefit;
