CVWD’s Imperial Dam Tour is a full day (10-12 hours) excursion that leaves the Coachella Valley and travels along the Coachella Canal, to the Imperial Dam. This is where water is diverted from the All American Canal to the Coachella Canal for irrigation on farmland and groundwater replenishment in the Coahella Valley. PLEASE NOTE: This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 12. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Tour fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and refreshments. Dress is casual and comfortable shoes are suggested, but please...NO open-toed shoes. Bring your camera and sunscreen.
